NORCAL Geophysical Consultants, Inc. conducts non-invasive geophysical surveys on the ground surface as well as borehole geophysical investigations to provide images or models of the underground. Our services include carefully defining specific survey objectives, acquiring various geophysical data at a wide range of sites within the U.S., analyzing the data using state-of-the-art computer routines, and providing our interpretation of the results. We routinely consult with geologists, geotechnical engineers, hydrologists, environmental engineers, archeologists, land planners, government agencies, and property owners to provide necessary subsurface information for the exploration, planning, design, locating and/or evaluation of:
Vital Infrastructure such as tunnels, roads, pipelines, powerplants, landfills, water supplies, airports, dams, and levees- Important resources such as groundwater, quarry rock, sand and gravel, and other earth materials
- Geologic conditions such as buried stream channels, faults, landslides, sinkholes and other voids, rock conditions, and groundwater seepage
- Underground objects such as buried drums, underground tanks and utilities buried debris, historical and archeological features, and crime scene evidence
